Presided over by the first ever Cuban Prima Ballerina Alicia Alonso, the 22nd International Ballet Festival in Havana is one of the oldest
and most prestigious events in the world of dance with more than 40 years of history. It will take place from the 28th October to the 6th November this year and has a special
significance as it coincides with the 90th birthday of Alicia Alonso. The principle dancers and acclaimed ballet performers from the National Ballet of Cuba will be the focal
point of the event, in partnership with international stars of the dance world of proven worldwide prestige. They will interpret important works of choreographers created especially
for this event. You will enjoy a combination of activities such as: Courses on special ballet techniques, art expositions, conferences, book presentations, and film seasons.
The
22nd International Festival of Havana is a unique opportunity for an artistic exchange between the most important figures of the dance world, culture personalities, art critics,
