Guardalavaca Beaches
The Guardalavaca beaches situated in eastern Cuba in Holguin province are tranquil and unspoilt, backed by a lush vegetation. They can be reached ideally by a direct flight to Holguin from the UK with Cubana airlines and then the hotels are about an hour’s drive.
HOTEL PARADISUS RIO DE ORO • 5 star
A beautiful all-inclusive resort overlooking the magnificent Esmeralda
beach (three separate beaches) and a lagoon. It is set in extensive tropical
gardens with 250 junior suites, 42 superior junior suites, and 6 suites
plus 2 garden villas infront of the beach. All facilities provided including
large swimming pool, non motorised water sports such as sailing and wind
surfing.
Trinidad and Ancon beach
Trinidad is classified as a world heritage site. It was founded in 1514 and is not far from the Ancon beach where there is diving. The Escambray mountains provide opportunities to trek and discover nature trails. There is also the Valley of the Sugar Mills to visit which is also a Unesco site. The well-preserved town is five hours drive from Havana.

The Hotel Iberostar Grand Trinidad is a new 5 star hotel located in the
centre of Trinidad. It has been sympathetically restored from a lovely
historic building to provide 40 rooms (36 standard rooms and 4 junior suites)
and is for adults only (15 and over). The Hotel offers elegant atmosphere
and wide range of facilities.
HOTEL BRISAS DEL TRINIDAD • 4 star, Ancon Beach
A low rise all-inclusive hotel on the lovely beach of Ancon near Trinidad
town. It has 241 rooms with all facilities, lots of watersports including
scuba diving lessons for beginners.
